Home Nursing: An Introduction
Thursday, January 31, 2013, 5:32 PM
Home nursing is important because we can take care of our relatives without the expense of the hospital. The patient will also feel our love more because we are the ones attending to his/her need as well. ☺

Taking care of a person is easier said than done. I was like, "Uh, I can do that.' But when I read about the true mechanics of home nursing, I was like..........

I CAN'T EVEN.

It was more complicated than I originally thought!! With all the processes and training a home nurse would undergo.

But, learning about home nursing was useful for me. I have a sick relative at home, and I learned some techniques on how to take care of her.

The Recycle Project ☺

For our 3rd quarter project, we were asked to create useful things out of recycled materials. We were very excited yet challenged to do those products within a short period of time. But of course, we accepted the pressure. ;)

So here are the products that we accomplished :D

This is a tetra pouch bag. It was simply made out of used tetra pouches (cleaned, of course), excess cloths and a simple zipper. It is just very simple to do since we had a background in sewing, and the materials we used can be found in our surroundings. We also had fun doing it. ☺

This is a simple candle lantern. It is made out of a used jar, and the designs are just made out of glue and glitters. We used glue of the design so that the light from the candle inside the jar would be visible with the translucent design. All you need to provide is the candle which you would put inside the jar. It is very easy to do and very useful since we experience brownouts in our city. ☺

This is an organizer. It is made out of Chinitos rice boxes, and the designs and made of straws which are cut and formed into hexagonal patterns. There are 4 rice boxes stocked together to form this organizer. I really had fun doing the hexagonal patterns out of straws ☺

Simple yet useful outputs! Try and make your own ☺

The words thank you are very essential to a person. We might forget to say it to people sometimes, but still, from the heart we say thank you to people who changed my life for the better.

For TLE 2, we were asked to create a thank you card for our parents.I thought it would me a piece of cake.I can do that within an hour, come on. But the shock of the day came... we had to do a pop-up card. My reaction was like:

But then I got to my senses. I had to do it. So I told myself..... BRING IT ON.

I was completely clueless on how to do a pop-up card. I mean, how do you make a thing pop out using paper? But then, Google was my best friend. With all the hard work and perseverance, I made the card! Yaay! My hard work really paid off :3
